The Scout badges are near and dear to me as I am from a family with only sisters. My father was a boy scout leader and so I know about the whole "badge" thing. I like hearing the motivation for the aquisition of the badges. Some went for quantity- to have the badges go up the back of the sash. Others went for the quality of the earning experience. I found it interesting to find out who in the present day earned what badges and if they carry any of that learning experience with them today. In particular, I thought it reeeeallly funny that I did not earn any of the Art Badges. Hmmm...
